Hummus is proof that some of the best tasting things in life are the simplest to make! Hummus is so versatile – it’s perfect for breakfast with eggs, as a spread on pita, in a sandwich, in a salad, or bowl…the possibilities are endless.
This hummus is lighter and fluffier than any store bought hummus I’ve had. It’s so easy to make – with only a few ingredients, you can keep it stocked in your fridge and never buy store bought hummus again

Ingredients:
2 cans of chickpeas
1 cup of ice cold water
1 cup tahini paste
Juice of 2 lemons
3 tsp sea salt
1-2 garlic cloves
1 tsp Zaatar spice
1 tsp EVOO
Preparation:
Place all ingredients (except EVOO and Zaatar spice) into food processor and run for about 5 minutes until smooth. The smoother the better.
To serve, place hummus onto a plate, making a ‘swoosh’ with the back of your spoon.
Top with Zaatar spice and EVOO. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Serve with pita, crackers or baguette.
You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Enjoy 🙂
